About The Art

Sabrina Davila develops characters to explore identity, self-worth, and the complexities of the mental and emotional experience through their artwork. She uses her artwork as a means of experimenting as well as for cathartic release of otherwise harmful thoughts. Sabrina is interested in illustrating stories that are relatable to her audience but also, primarily to herself. The digital and traditional methods of illustration come together to explore deeper into emotions, trauma, and the effects it can have on someone both physically and mentally. Sabrina, ultimately, wants to be as entertaining as possible while also having a means of expressing themselves as a means of open communication between herself and the audience.
